Satoshi Hori
Born in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan,

guitarist and composer

Satoshi Hori was influenced by Rock, Blues and Punk

as a student when he got his first electric guitar.

It was during these early student years while

exploring musical genres and composing original songs

that he discovered and was influenced

by Paco De Lucia, the great Flamenco guitar master.

In 1996, the allure of Flamenco led him to Sevilla, Andalucia, Spain,

where Hori played his first flamenco guitar.

After returning to Tokyo, Hori enrolled in the Flamenco Academy

as a professional guitar accompanist to learn the basics of Flamenco before

flying back to Cordoba, Andalucia, Spain, where he shared his life and played

many sessions with exquisite multicultural musicians.

Hori's concept of composing music and live performances

come from Japanese Matsuri (mystic festival) spirit that dwells deep in his soul.

To cultivate his original sound, Hori continuously collaborates on various musical

performances with many other artists.

In the sizzling summer of 2011, in Tokyo,

Satoshi Hori's eponymous album  "Satoshi Hori"

debuted on 20th July on Moodstock Records.
